Pictron Media Archive Manager interfaces with numerous robotic tape libraries and DVD jukeboxes either directly through virtual file system or data mover middleware.

The brain of the Media Archive Manager resides in a centralized database that provides active records of each media asset location and access record. Using the Media Gateway Server application Web browser interface, users can search video clips and build playlist and submit request to automatically restore media assets to online storage in a video server or a video editing workstation.
